Short bio

She graduated in Mathematics in 1987 from University of Valencia, and received the Ph.D. degree in Mathematics in 1995 from Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). She entered the Technical University of Catalonia in 1987 as a lecturer. Since 2001 she is an Associate Professor with the Department of&nbsp; Mathematics&nbsp; of the UPC. She has taught several first and second year math courses for engineering students. <p Since 2016, She is a member of the research group “CRAAX-Advanced Network Architectures Lab” (UPC). She has oriented her research towards applying mathematics to ICT environments. She has worked on the design of clustering algorithms to model architectures from fog to cloud. Her current research interests are artificial intelligence and applying statistical machine-learning techniques to develop prediction-based approaches to security provisioning, particularly in edge and F2C scenarios.
